Pedigree Information~

I bet you are wondering why I added the Godolphin Arabian in here, right? Well, all of these horses in this webpage is actually in his bloodline. Mainly the mares, but all the babies from early spring 2013 are in his bloodline. Some also show being in the Darley Arabian's bloodline. When you think about, all of the horses in here are also in connection with Seabiscuit and Man O' War. The lasting influence of the Godolphin Arabian in the pedigrees of succeeding generations can be gauged from the fact that 50 years after his death, all the first 76 British Classic winners had at least one strain of him in their pedigree. In addition, all but three of the 115 mares born in or before 1803 to become dams of Classic winners had also inherited the Godolphin Arabian genes.

There are actually many horses today that are in the Godolphin Arabian's line. I recently found out that both of my American Quarter Horses are in his line. There are Paints that I know are in his line. Here are a couple of stallions that have breed with Dave Merritts mares, or Dave has bought sperm from.
